Default Printing Issues

Printing onto White Sweatshirts. Using a T-Jet2 and I am getting a black fuzzy look on the material threads? Not consistant with each print.
Seems to be a lot of lint in printing head area. How do I resolve/eliminate this problem?

Try pressing the sweatshirts for a few seconds on a heat press before printing.

Some sweatshirts are really fuzzy and are difficult not to ruin.Prepressing does help.Another thing that helps is to raise the print head a little and then print in unidirectional mode to help preserve the print crispness.

To keep your print head from clogging because of touching these fibers, make sure you clean the wiper blade and capping station thoroughly. Examine the print head and the surrounding area often ( I use a mirror and flashlight) to make sure you aren't picking up fibers and dragging them across your shirts. Clean the whole surface carefully if there is any lint buildup at all. Sometimes long fibers can build up at the edge of your print head, and end up dragging along the shirts.

Also what is the content of the hoodies? The more polyester they have the more likely you can get bleed of the ink. When I print hoodies I try to get 100% cotton face on them as they print much better then the cotton/poly mix.
