Can anyone recommend a DTG tech in South Florida to help repair or salvage the DTG Kiosk II I bought?

I have tried all the steps in the manual to get this thing working correctly and it is still a no go.

It refuses to print black. I have done the head cleaning, nozzle check and tried to clean everything the best I can and still nothing.

I bought this machine used and the guy I bought it from said the print head was replaced about 6 months prior. Not sure if I believe that now.

I need someone who you guys trust to take a look at it and tell me just what in the world is going on.

Thanks.

Hi Eric,

If you are not getting any black ink it is likely either your print head or the damper on the black line. Try moving the damper from the black position to the cyan position and the cyan damper to the black position - do a ink fill and a couple of head cleanings and then print a nozzle check. If the problem follows the black damper then the issue is the damper (or a clogged ink line) - if the problem stays where the black damper was then the issue is the print head. Epson no longer makes parts for the Epson 2200 that the Kiosk 2 is based on. There may be a few floating around, but they are getting very hard to find and prices are starting to skyrocket on the remaining units.
