Default Ink Waste and Humidity

Hey everybody,

I recently purchased a GTX and enjoy the print quality and the ease of use but have an issue with the high white ink consumption.

I was wondering if there is a method to properly gauge our ink waste as the machine does not let you know much is being used to print and how much is being used to perform maintenance tasks. What methods have you guys used to find the real amount of ink waste?

I am also having an issue with humidity. I use the Vornado whole room evaporative humidifier and set it to medium fan speed and high humidity and I have enclosed the space beneath the printer. I have tried moving the humidifier to different spots underneath and even have 2 humidifiers running and I'm still at 37% humidity. The brother clock/hygrometer we have placed next to the humidifier is reading 41% yet the machine reads 37%. Has anybody experienced this before?

Thanks
