| Anajet -vs- Flexijet Can someone here please tell me if the Anajet is as good as the Flexijet. I'm torn between the 2 but I'm leaning strongly towards the Anajet because of the price.
Thanks!!! |

One consideration is the print engine used, the Flexi-jet is based on a pro series print engine and is 17 inches wide.
The Anajet is based on a 13 inch wide print engine.
The Flexi Jet is designed with an open platform the lends to printing on a variety of substrates, whether they fit on the platen area or not.
If you would like more information on the Flexi-Jet or how it compares to other machines in the market please don't hesitate to call our cutomer service number and talk to Renee.
If it is mainly price that is your issue please call us and we may be able to come up with an arrangement that more suits your budget.

| Re: Anajet -vs- Flexijet One of the biggest benefits of the Flexi is its wider print space. When I owned my machine, that is what I used the most, because we printed a lot of very large images. The flip side is, if you are not printing large images, the Anajet can actually print FASTER because of the behavior of the print head, and how far it has to move on each pass.
When I was in a booth at SGIA in Florida, one of the things I noticed with the Anajets we were selling, was the fact that it seemed to have a harder time re-registering for a second or third pass of printing.... I do not believe, based on my very limited experience with the machine, that they are engineered for quite as precise registration as the Flexi.
Overall, they are both great machines and should be looked at seriously. Throw an HM1 in the mix and have yourself a ball! Oh, and a Brother.... I know SOMEONE would have mentioned that, if I didn't. |

| Re: Anajet -vs- Flexijet Ok I am so not answering on this one hehe, well maybe just a little since justin brought it up I have the hm1 and I love it. Its been a great machine for me. But yea the flexi does have a larger print area then mine but I think mine probably prints quicker as justin said due to the movement of the printhead. On the hm1 it only has to move over where the print is, it doesnt have to move completely back and forth on the carriage so it makes it faster. I am not sure of the travel on the anajet printhead though.
