Susie,

If you come to our facility, training for all BelQuette products is free.

Otherwise, we can have a technician come to your location for $500/day plus travel.

Susie,
Since you are TSF member you are free to join our class in our Choctaw training. Flexijet and NeoFlex functions are very close each other because Flexi is A2 epson4000 and Neo is Epson 4880. You will get pretty good idea of what to do with Flexi.
Good luck! :)

The Flexi-Jet is based on an Epson 4800 not the Epson 4000.

All three platforms are discontinued from Epson, but consumable parts will be available for some years to come. This is one of the reasons why we discontinued the Original Flexi-Jet. We knew that the series was being discontinued and the 48XX series was much slower than other print engines which we knew would do well in a production atmosphere.

Kevin,
Disagree. 4880 is still on production. while your 1800 is finish for long.
I just bought 350ea xEpson4880 from EU. stock of 450 so far.:D
Read end user satisfaction rate in Epson web site. 1800vs 4880:)
Best printer Epson ever made was 4880.
From Shanghai. Wei~
Cheers! Beers are on me always.

:D You imagine mountain? LOL?:D
I will show you pictures upon my return.:p
Any way good to see you trying to help Flexijet owners. Please do not disappoint them because majority of them are AA sold. It is possible to replace 4880(you can buy many as you want) on same base. You can show to world that you care about your products to the end. It can be big help and news to Flexijet owners and will be so happy.
Cheers! Maybe your turn to buy me beers. Since I did countless times.:D

Thank you, Peter!

Our Flexi-Jet customers have been much more satisfied since we brought our support in-house. A great machine, as you already know, but we continue to strive to make it better.

As we tell every customer, we support our equipment forever. Whether you are the first owner or the last. We stand behind our ideas whether it is profitable or not.

Both are true. We do not make new Flexi-Jets but we do continue to improve the components and programming in order to continue serving existing customers.

Re: any flexi jet users in central mississippi here

Lol, yodan,
It was 4800 board. Not 4880. Just change board. Take out original board out from new 4880 and put in 4800 board was the BQ solution. Go backward? That was BQ suggestion when 4880 was introduced. As same as they are doing on Mob1. Change to 1800 from 1900 with changing board if I am not mistaken. Backward than advance?
Cheers! Beers are on me always.

You did it while BQ couldn't do it.

The same thing you do with the NeoFlexi-Jet.

I thought your knowledge level is higher than your comment. LOL.
But it is ok.
When end user install Epson drive it will tell clearly what driver they are uploading.
While yours are Epson 1800 drive with 1900 body. NeoFlex is top to bottom 4880 all the way. This will drive better image.
Cheers!

Re: any flexi jet users in central mississippi here

Nonetheless, it is the same firmware, Peter.

4800 or 4880, please expound on the difference.
