Hi Zhenji, thanks for giving us another option. Maybe not much cheaper than BongoUS but a saving is a saving, right? When your halfway around the world any saving will do!

Have used Bongo in the past. Ordered 2 watches and instead of getting them shipped direct from the retailer sent them through Bongo as the shipping time was only 3 days versus 10 from the retailer, and I was in a hurry as I needed a watch for work.

Tracked the shipment to Bongo - weight was 1lb for both watches. On arrival Bongo listed the weight as 1.5lb. each watch - i.e. 3 lb's for both which is triple the weight (heavy watches huh). After a week of mucking around with back and forth emails only had one watch sent as the shipping was too expensive for both. Ended up costing more, still taking around 10 days and one watch was binned due to shipping costs.

Queried the tripling of the weight and as told it was to do with the box dimensions being the factor for the pricing. When the box arrived it was big enough to fit both watches anyway and was padded out with packing material... so not happy.

Anyway that's my experience - your mileage may vary.

That's why I dont use or recommend Bongo anymore. Theres countless stories of them overcharing excess weights and dimensions. When questions they wont prove that the weight they charge you is the weight they actually get charged from DHL.

Bongo may be bungo, so I will continue my search for a freight agent who isn't into dirty tricks like what happened to Actate. If only the big guys weren't such A--holes when it comes to rates!
