the two vinyl supplier that i use for my heat press vinyl and my standard calendered vinyl are artmart over in blackburn north on Joesph st. which sell the polo-flex heat vinyl ( and good heat press too). and the oracal brand vinyl. and the customer service is great.

the other supplier i use is conect over at carrum downs that stock a big range of the brand 'siser' heat press vinyl .

these two are the only two that i would use for heat press vinyl in victoria.

if your serious about doing t-shirts these two are the only ones to deal with. and as for roxcell please don't i have had nothing but problem with my vinyl cutter i purchased off the them and there customer service doesn't exist in any form once you have problems as they state that it 99.8 % user error not there product.

Funny you should say that Pete. I have just started using HTV and have been trying to source suppliers. It's taken me a week of e-mails and phone calls to Roxcell to get a decent reply. I also ordered some of the Siser Videoflex PS and tried it last night and it is awesome! They have a great range of finishes and colours too.

Can anyone comment on using the Poli-Flex film? For anyone in WA looking for Poli-Flex I have found a WA Distributor. I have attached their price list for anyone interested.

I agree with Obzelite, DTK in Adelaide have been a godsend for me, customer service and support have been great. Currently using Stahl's range of Vinyl. Vast range, great quality, easy weeding, variety and durability are also very good. Not entirely happy with the print and cut Vinyl they offer but for names, numbers etc, definitely high grade.

what problems do you have with the print and cut? I've found i have to use a new blade otherwise the knife skips because the stuff is so stretchy, without a sharp blade the stuff is a nightmare.
other than that its a godsend on those painful jobs

Are you using Flex 2? For me the quality feels like i haven't pressed it long enough, I've followed the instructions and played around with different shirts and fabrics. Might need to play around with it some more

We use Magic touch for our plain vinyls including most of the reflective, glow in the dark, glitters and pretty much any colour. They are thin, easy to weed as the backing is sticky and easy to apply.
For some jobs it is pretty hard to tell it is a heat transfer and not screenprinting!

For the printable vinyls we use Velflex and have always used Bens products. Again I would swear by the quality. We have used the stretch and normal vinyl from them and they have been pretty easy to apply. You do need to have a sharp blade though when you are cutting out small lettering less than 2cm to ensure that it doesn't cause stitch cutting around them.
