How did you go from Adtec/gilrow and R hopkins to buying what you did?
Buyer beware!
ha aha true true...well i guess greed overwhelmed my better judgement and i was able to convince myself that i was giving the new kid on the block a go! i'm trying to have the 4 print heads replaced so i hope she doesnt read this before that happens...i must be careful because of their disclaimer..."Leaving neutral / negative feedback without communication will be considered as scum and will be void all after sales support."...

The sad thing about those presses is that if just a little more time had been spent in making them better then they would not have been to bad.
Another problem that will show up in time is that the 2 plastic wheels that are ment to keep tight reg are not a good design. When you lower the printing arm down and are not linned up exactly then one of the wheels will start to turn first before the other one does and since they are not perfectly round the reg can change. I spent ages one day trying to work out why the reg keeped moving around and I found out this was the problem. I have had mine for almost a year now so yours might be a better design now.

i've only just looked at the chinese one last week on ebay. this thread drew my attention to it. i wanted to keep abreast of prices. the thing that stood out to me amongst the extensive raves of features in the advertising was the complete lack of detail about the vertical axle and bearings. i feel sorry for those who bought them.

I got a second hand adtec 4 colour 1 station of ebay and I must say it has been a good press for me so far. Once I go to the next level I will be selling it for a 4 station 4 colour but until then I am ok with this.
