Anyone using the new Ri 1000 yet? If yes, can you elaborate on what you like and don't like about it. Thanks.

Did you buy the ri 1000?

I can certainly appreciate the question. It's a fair one to ask. However, since most manufacturers consider pricing information confidential. I am not comfortable sharing their confidential information. If you contact them directly, they can provide for you. One thing I can add is that All of the manufacturers I have spoken to have a Suggested Retail Price and then offer periodic specials. i.e. Show specials, holiday specials, etc. Best time to buy is when company is offering a special. If they are not offering one now, you can wait as they will undoubtedly be offering one in the future. Also, many sales people, regardless of the company, have some wiggle room in their prices and may be willing to reduce the price if you're willing to buy "today". Good luck in your search process.

Hogwash.

Most manufacturers blast their pricing on their websites. And there are whole websites (Kelly Blue Book for one) who make it their mission to show would be purchasers the best deals they can find for equipment.

So if you don't want to reveal what you paid, fine, that's your right. But don't use manufacturer confidential pricing as your excuse because there is no such thing. I hope you don't believe that your price was soooooo great that Anajet doesn't want ANYONE else to get that price from them. They would sell 1,000 more machines at that price if they could.

I purchased an Ri 1000 in November. I am still marketing and so haven't printed more that 30-40 prints. I ran out of white ink (both $60 cartridges) this week. That's a little disappointing.
100% cotton prints are fabulous. No complaints there. Just be aware that that means 100% - 50/50 blends require specific artwork to look good - muted colors. Their wolf with the dream catchers looks awesome on a royal blue - but the white washes out.
There are some problems with the drain system and I've had a trouble ticket in since before Christmas with no resolution. They were supposed to follow up. For $15,000 at the Vegas trade show, I think it will be a good value - but I won't make that judgement until I've had a few production runs.

Have you had the opportunity to print on tri-blends??
I am considering this machine as well. Have you printed on hoodies?

I will be testing how many prints I get and at how much they are meant to cost with my latest set of inks.

I managed to get more this time, but still not close to what the price per print should be.

Any updates on the Ricoh Ri1000? How's the customer service with Anajet?? They told me the price was $19,950 but I've read reviews from others getting it for $15-17,000.
