Default opinions on discoloration (image armor) after heat press drying

Just looking for opinions in the charcoal gray Gildan, 100% cotton. Treated and press dried before printing.
I've used on black & green, no problems.
Burned? Wash out?

I have actually been having the same issues with Image Armor. Great on black, but everything else leaves marks and stains to the extent that I would not want to send them to a customer.

I found curing in small steps helps minimize it a bit, like 10 seconds, let the steam escape, them another 20-30 seconds.

I'm gonna run a test now...throwing this tee and another in the wash... see what happens.

You schould use image armour light formula for this.

Yes, Smalztein is correct. On that color, which is more of a dark ash shirt would require the LIGHT shirt formula.

btw, Gildan shirts are one of the worst as far as quality issues. It seems that most people run into those issues with Gildans. I would NOT suggest the DARK formula for that color as you will get a discoloration. Hence the LIGHT Shirt formula.

Also, using the LIGHT shirt formula on a Jerzees 29M might surprise you... cheaper shirt and a lot of people like the 50/50 blends...

I will have some 50/50's we did on that same type of color shirt with white ink on it using the LIGHT shirt formula and it looks pretty awesome for a 50/50. The polyester prints (white 100% poly) we show the difference between treated and non-treated..... WOW.... this is what we will have at the Long Beach Show this week.

Plus, people can sign up on the website and reserve a free sample of both the LIGHT and DARK pretreatments.
