Default New Anajet Mpower Printer

WOW! I just got my first look at the new Mpower printer. I watched it print a full front white T in 19 seconds. The list of upgrades and new features is amazing. Not only a much faster print speed but a new print head that is almost impossible to clog, even with white ink, a larger print area, a small screen that previews your graphic so you dont even have to connect it to a pc. You can print from a flash drive or SD card. It wont be long till I have one in my shop. I have attached several pictures of the new printer. Full front view, screen, side view, and one with Roxanna Lisenby from Anajet.

According to the brochure the print area is 14 x 18. When it does a print head clean the ink re circulates into a secondary line so it can still be used for printing. The ink is used not wasted to a bottle.

Looks pretty interesting! Just read on an article that they have two available

MP10 (one at show) - $35,950
MP5 - $23,950

New High-Speed Garment Printers from AnaJet Boost Apparel Production Efficiency and Lower Costs

The position of the Screen looks rather odd, would prefer not to have to lean over the garment

I have the Anajet Sprint and it works fine. Recirculating ink would have been nice, two inches wider both ways is no big deal, and adding two or more tables would have been better!!

A faster speed still does not make up time for doing more than one shirt at a time.

Actually it makes a big difference. If it prints 4 times faster that makes a big difference at the end of the day.

Yes no more 1900 head. There are two channels for two white heads. Each head is seperate from the next.

According to the folks in the booth its a Ricoh industrial steel nozzle plate print head. The rip is new and developed by Anajet. It offers previews of your design as you change ink settings and will even allow you to remove back ground from the rip program. You can print on items up to 3 inches thick. If you have a set of pre done designs you can save them to a flash drive or memory card and print without your PC. I havent seen the inside of the printer yet so I cant send any pictures.

Thumbs up Re: New Anajet Mpower Printer

Just Googled: "Ricoh industrial steel nozzle plate print head" Pretty impressive specs!. I looks as if those heads take a higher vis ink. I'm regretting not going to the NBM..

Thanks for the views Chuck

I am not going to go down the road of "Man, I wish I had known this coming 2 months ago when I bought my Sprint" but I amgonna go down the road that I can't wait to get to a volume level where I need the second printer. If this new printer is faster than the Sprint and works better then it will be truly amazing. I don't have (knock on wood here) problems with clogging since I follow the maint instructions to the T but it does seem much smarter to recover the ink instead of sending it into the waste tank.

Can't wait for Chuck to get his hands on one of these so I can hear all about the machine!

if the info regarding the Ricoh head is true, then this could be a nice upgrade. there's already a discussion on these forums regarding the Epson 4900 head and the topic moved to the Ricoh heads being able to handle a much larger drop size. the drop size would be on par with Brother and Kornit which is why there is substantially less clogging. the ink is most likely still DuPont as they have a higher viscosity ink that the Ricoh head could handle.
