Hi Everyone, I want to know if anyone could tell me if bamboo fabric is a high quality super soft fabric. Or maybe someone has a suggestion about what is the best quality fabric, and where I could find it.
Bamboo is a really soft fabric, but holds strong like cotton. Because of the bamboo fibers the shirt is breathable and with the natural properties of bamboo the shirt is also naturally anti-microbial. So bamboos tees are great for spending time outdoors.
Bamboo shirts are a great! I found them in the Preferred Vendors section but can't remember which one. Go through them it will be worth it even though the cost is a bit more than say "Gilden, etc.".
bamboo is great! my experience with it that it ages quick, it gets fuzzy after a few washes. but than stays like that. while cottons keeps getting older with washing the bamboo stays better in the long run. (wow confusing explenation)
white bamboo is often very thin and doesnt stay so good. maybe because of the bleaching?
i have some black continental shirts that have been washed many times and look great.
the continental bamboo is our number 1 seller for woman.
at the moment the bamboo fibers are very short with fuzzy fabric as a result. some who knows told me that in the comming years they will solve that and bamboo fabrics should become even better.
Schenk, Thanks just the info I'm looking for. Would you say that it is better to sell both bamboo shirts and cotton shirts? Okay, what I am trying to do is produce high quality t shirts with the best fabric I can find. Since you sell bamboo fabric shirts would you consider them high quality? Are they like vintage?
Bamboo is a great eco-friendly alternative to cotton. The only drawback is that I really don't like the smell. For some reason, I can't stand the smell of bamboo (and most say it doesnt smell at all). But, I wouldnt worry so much about that...just be concerned about the possible added costs.
