Bella and Alternative Apparel both make women's tanks that I and my partner (female) like.

Ribbed knits are more difficult to decorate in general. They're not great for pressing, just as they're not great for printing.

I was going through the same problem this past weekend. I tried printing on a ribbed tanks. I had to do several passes just to get the ink to go between the ribbs. Once I did that the ink felt thick and very plastic and heavy. Solum, do you have any suggestions on what are the best inks to use and do you stretch the tank on the board and ink it?

I avoid heavily ribbed fabric because I like my life to be easy

There are some threads in the screenprinting section with tips, or you can start a new thread there and see if anyone has any tips.

I think it's been a while since it was particularly discussed, so it might be time for another go 'round - like white ink, it's a topic that people bring new info and ideas to every now and again.
