Hey guys!
I'm only nw to the forum.. so I hope i have post this in the correct section *gulp*

I have an account set up with American Apparel & am hoping to place an order very soon.. however! I don't want to get a shock when it comes time to pay for shipping from the US to AUS.

I am only ordering a small lot- most likely 100 units.

Has anyone placed an order close to this amount & approximately how much were you charged for shipping from US-AUS?

I am just in need of a rough estimate! I know lots of vendors get pissed if you start sharing their wholesale prices, so just a generalised figure would be much appreciated!

I'm also after AA shirts in Australia, is there any reason to why you are buying them from the US and not from an Australian distributor. Just started looking into this and from what I have found out Bym International, Fully Stoked and Ounce are selling AA locally.

ahh.. see I have thought about BYM, however I wasn't sure if the styles I really wanted would be available to me!

Also, the shop at which i work used to stock AA & got it for reasonable prices (i can't remember how much though), but we have 15 stores & i just assumed they wouldn't want to deal with a small fry like me!

& then I have read some posts her stating that it works out cheaper from the US.. AND that the agent takes a while to reply.

Basically i gave up before I even started with BYM!
However, I have their contact so I should just give it a try anyway.

As for the others, I read Ounce were terrible to deal with & that Fully Stoked's contract was terminated?
Also, logging into FS's wholesale section, they only seem to list blankcotton?!

Maybe I am jumping to conclusions here!
Let me know if i'm mistaken =)

I just called Ounce and they are no longer called Ounce lol.. they are now MACHINE INDUSTRIES PTY LTD

and they have some AA stuff, you need to email them to get a price list for an extended range not everything is listed on the website.

And Fully stoked don't carry AA from what I saw.
