I love the feel and the variety of colors they carry... but I feel the smalls may not be small enough.. and also i noticed an inconsistensy in the length between certain colors. some are cut longer than others. The sales director tells me it may be an issue of shrinkage in the dyeing process but thats not good enough for me. Anybody else have an opinion on this brand?
Soft comfortable tees that look good water base printed. A bit more expensive than what we usually use and I dont think my supplier even carries them anymore. I better go check that out.
I use Comfort Colors all the time for higher end customers. I love the product and my cusomers do as well. They are based out of Vermont but are carried by S&S Activewear and Broder and others, I'm sure. People love the soft colors and the way they hang-looser at the bottom. Chromezone shrink where Comfort Colors don't. If you call the company in Vermont they do have youth sizes and maybe they have an xl youth that would run smaller. They also have ladies sizes that run shorter and smaller. I have the number for the manufacturer if you like.
I use them for my t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts. Very good shirts with a great feel due to ring spun cotton and garment dying on the styles I use. Their shipments have always been on time and correct. Yes, a little more on price but well worth it if you want a quality shirt. I would recommend buying direct from them. You can check out setting up an account on their website.
I have not. In all I have purchased 5 different colors in both short and long sleeve and have not seen a difference in length. The only variation you should expect to see is around color if you purchase the pigment dyed (also called garment dyed) styles. However, this is absolutely part of the normal process due to the dyeing process - so don't be surprised.
this is my first post, so hello to all.
all throughout high school and college I had t-shirts printed up and was never happy with the quality of the hanes/gildan/fruit of the loom.
when i started thinking about printing up a couple thousand shirts for a new line that i've been working i had a look around for an affordable AND comfortable t-shirt and didn't have much luck until I stumbled across Comfort Colors shirts at a few stores in Maine (Renys/Ocean State Job Lot) where they were being sold for $3-3.50 per shirt. I decided that these are what I wanted to print on and looked for a wholesaler that could pick them up for $1.50-2 and found one guy that carried them, but I seem to have lost his card. do any of you know what the cost direct from the company? how many would I need to purchase? also, what other wholesalers carry them and what are the prices there?
thanks in advance
also, having had a good deal of experience with these shirts I will say that the sizes are VERY inconsistent. an XL in one color can be the same as a medium/large in another. I was told by the person whose card I lost that this inconsistency is due to where they are produced. apparently, a number of colors are manufactured in one country and other colors are manufactured in a different country. i had a look at the tags, and he was right. all of the XLs that I have from one country fit the same and the few i have that were manufactured in another country are considerably different.
I would really love to get the t-shirts cheaper than I am. If you come across the number for the less expensive distributor, please, pass it along.
Thanks so much-
Mary Jo
if anyone that has purchased comfort colors could provide a list of what the paid for x number of shirts from which company/distributor that would be amazingly helpful.
$3.59! really? is that if you just purchase a few? do they get considerably cheaper for 100+?
the guy that I was going to purchase from for $24/dozen sells printed comfort color Ts at flea markets in FL for 3/$10
S&S short sleeve - case price $4.80
long sleeve - case $6.16
Broder short sleeve $3.40
long $6.06
They both do no shipping with $150 order providing the items are not on sale. Then the shipping is based on only the items that are on sale. Both Broder anbd S&S carry some colors and not others. I get some colors from each at times, which can be a pain but it works.
