Default What is a good quality and cost-effective blank t-shirt wholesaler?

I run a screen printing shop in the Republic of Panama, and I'm interested in finding some costs effective and good quality blank t-shirt retailer/wholesalers.

The local wholesalers/retailers are not very good quality. I'm interested in starting a clothing line; I'd be looking for something along the lines of american apparel (fitted) quality.

Does Anvil, Fruit of The Loom, and/or Guildan make fitted T's (or something similar)? If so, where can I find them? I've seen the aforementioned manufacturer's prices and they're pretty much what I'm looking for.

Any info is appreciated, thanks very much for reading.
Cheers,
J.

Try www.alphashirt.com. They have a facility in Florida.

Yeah, I checked them out.
Would you know what would be some good and affordable "fitted"/vintage style blank t-shirts? I'm looking in the direction of anvil and gildan.
Thanks for your reply.

Gildan do a lighter weight fitted shirt now (I think Anvil do as well, not sure), but you're definitely not going to match the quality of American Apparel with that. Still, it's an option if you're interested - I'm sure Alpha would carry it.

You can maybe look into Next Level Apparel as well. Their inventory levels are somewhat unstable but they have some nice lightweight, sheer-styled fitted stuff.

I use Alpha shirt out of Philly. They will give me case pricing on small orders if I *phone* the order in and *ask* for case pricing. They can't do it on the computer orders, they said, because they have to adjust them manually. If you do decide to try Alpha, see if you can phone in the order and request case pricing out of that location as well. Someone else here passed that tip on to me, and they used yet a different location. It worked for them, and it's worked for me, and others that I've passed that tip onto. Good luck to you!
