What are your thoughts on this shirt? I want to switch my shirts over to something softer and more fitted than the Pro Club/Pro 5 shirts I've been using. I'd like to use American Apparel, but they seem very expensive, and I don't have a wholesale license. I don't need to buy in bulk, and would like to have no minimums. These fit the criteria lol!
Are they comparable? Or am I way off base? If so, what are some other options that are similar to AA, Continental, Alternative, etc, that I can buy at no minimums?
I use Gildan shirt and they are a good quality shirt. I've used the 2000, but generally use the5000, I believe it's a 5.6oz but I get it cheeper and can't tell the difference. I've seen the AA shirts at a store and they don't seem any better. The only thing about the Gildan is they seem a little short or run small but not sure how it compares to the AA. I would recommend.
Sorry, I looked up AA online and obviously way off base. AAs I said earlier I haven't used them and I THOUGHT I had seen them in a store and it was comparable to Gildan, must have been a different line. Sorry, for speaking out of place.

Don't sweat it.
Compared to American Apparel, the standard Gildan (2000 and 5000) is a boxy fit, coarse cotton, and heavier weight.
The fabric feels noticeably different.

We sell both the 2000 and the 64000. They clearly serve two different purposes. First, though, they are both great shirts for the money.
The Gildan 2000 is indeed "boxey" but it's a "basic tee." If you plan on serving the bell curve of body types, offer the 2000.
The 64000 is a "soft style" tee that is slightly more fitted. It is super comfortable, but not for people with big bellys or those wanting a more durable, heavy-weight, warmer tee.

I also just remembered something else: you said you're using ProClub right? ProClub recently released a slim fit ringspun shirt, AA style. Nice shirt, though not many colours yet. If you're already happy with your current supply but just want a different style shirt, definitely grab a sample of that.
