Default 779 vs 1701....

I just got my samples of Anvil 779 and Alstle 1701. I've compared them and the only difference I've noticed is the neck. 1701 neck is smaller. Other than that they are the same size body and arm lenght. There is not much difference in the feel.

I've wash the 779 and its not bad I have to wash the 1701 next.

Have anyone else test these 2 and what where your results ofter washing? I ask because I've heard many say they choose 1701 over 779?

I dont think the 779 is ringspun cotton. The 1701 is therefore much softer. I have never compared the two but I thought the 1701 was more fitted than styles such as 779 which are basic. Anybody has an idea?

The 779s aren't ringspun. We're doing an order of about 900 shirts right now with them, and they're working out well. We've washed about 10 of them so far when we've had to use ink remover or a tide pen to get a mistake off and they've all come out well. They're a little too thin for my taste and not the best quality, but I'd certainly use them again if a customer wanted a shirt priced a little cheaper. I haven't tried the other one though.
