A zipper that zips over the face so you can't see?
Yea, I've seen these hoodies before. Some of them you can zip all the way up to your forehead and there are hoodies that cover half of your face. It seems as though the urban market has these types of hoodies, they're long, thick, wide and have thermal lining.
thanks Ezra. Looking for a more realiable source though too. I heard there was a company in Canada that made these, but I have no RN or other info. was hoping someone on here would know.
i'm going to begin researching manufacturers for hoodies, i'd be happy to let you know what i find out.
drop me an email to - as a reminder to contact you...it's the best way to get in touch with me.
and if you don't mind we could trade info on what we find out?
I'm looking for the same as well. I've seen L-R-G produce some cool hoodies like this. Is this what you're looking for? I seen an L-R-G hoodie where it's spider man. Looked funny at first, but after awhile I thought it was a cool thing.
I know it's that this link doesn't really help you guys too much in finding a source for your hoodies, but I thought you might like to see Anticon's full zip's. They're a lot less streetwear in style than the LRG ones (like 'Dead Serious') and I like them a lot. I can't remember whether Lucas stitches his hoodies himself or imports them, but I guess you could always ask.
I saw a friend's younger brother with one for the first time last month up in Lake Taho. His was made by "Slim Shady" / Emminem's clothing line. Looked like a Jason Hocky mask. He was going around popping out and scaring old women. I thought it was really clever design but I get the feeling the "urban popularity" aspect is because you can easily commit crimes in them!
Added:
I looked at the links and it reminded me that the face part was an extra piece sewn into the hood to fill in the face area. There was a seam inside so really its a regular hoodie with a couple inches of cloth sewn into the sides of the hood with a zipper installed. Some zip up and some zip down. So what you really need to do is source a sweatshirt suppler that will add this extra piece. Or you could try just sewing a zipper to the front of a regular hoodie, but it makes the hood get tight in the back by bringing it together. (if that makes sense).
