i think american apparel t's are wonderful, yet expensive. Is there anything close to their quality for 1/2 their price? anyone?

Half price probably not, less expensive, yes. Try Sun Apparel In Hayward, Ca. 510.576.1600. You can ask for Bob or Robert. They make some styles almost exactly like AA 2001,2102, etc, and they are significantly less expensive. The cut is the same, the construction is the same, and the cotton is the same. Sun also distributes AA and have great service...

Are you already buying from them wholesale? The reason I ask is because some people think the prices show in the American Apparel online store are the wholesale pricing.

I don;t know how much American cost but I used Hype shirts a little pricey but really nice..
