Default Important specs for good quality soft feel t-shirt

Hi all!

I am wondering what are the definite specs for a good quality soft feel t-shirt. I'm putting the lists on below, anyone can throw their 2 cents on this?

1) 100% cotton
2) Pre-shrunk
3) Fully combed
4) Ring-spun
5) Less than 6 oz
6) Yarn dyed
7) Single or double stitches?

Is the quality of AA about the same as above?

Thanks!

The problem with this is your idea of "good quality" could be diferent from my specs, which could be different than the actual customer's specs. You should ask your customers what type of t-shirts they prefer to wear.

For me, less than 6 oz wouldn't necessarily be a criteria. I like soft heavyweight t-shirts as well. The yarn dying doesn't seem to play too much of a big part in the quality to me.

Ring spun, for sure, and/or combed cotton.

So many variables

Yo Rodney! My business target is retail shopper, so basically it is "what you see is what you get" for my customer. It's my duty to find quality tshirt that can make the wearer feel like a million bucks

I always thought you can't get soft feel quality in heavier tshirt. I must be wrong!

what about single and double stitches? Does it important?

Look specifically for combed cotton. Usually everything else will follow place around that. Another high quality fabric is Bamboo.

Hi Philip, if we look for combed cotton, is it still neccessary to add enzyme treamtment?

I have a manufacturer and he quoted me "100% cotton 26/20 Fullycomb Single Jersey with softerner + control shrinkage". I am not sure about 26/20, anyone can help on this? I searched from forum here, and peoples only talked about 20/1, 30/1, 36/1, 40/1, but no such info on 26/20.

Anyway, the price is USD 3.50 per piece. Good value?

Thanks!
