Default T-Shirt Quality

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed about certain t-shirt quality?
I am not endorsing anyone's t-shirt but really just taking a survey.
Most of my life I wore Fruit of the Loom t-shirts and they were OK but wore out quickly. I switched over to Haynes t-shirts and found them to be much more durable and 100% cotton or so their label read.
I bought a gob of their colored t-shirts and found no difference in the feel but Lord have mercy they have to be 300% hotter.
I live in a hot climate and immediately noticed this and their colored t-shirts are impossible to wear here in the summer.
Me thinks the manufacturer has snuck in some polyester blends with their 100% cotton advertising.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
I wish I knew where I could send one of these t-shirts for testing. Any suggestions?

I don't think it's that easy to sneak in polyester when the tee's label says it's 100% cotton. Do all of them say that they are 100% cotton?

Remember that dark colours store heat better than light colours.

I am very much aware that dark colors absorb UV light more than a white color.
But when you are wearing this material inside a house, out of UV light and still sweather, there has to be something wrong with the material and all shirts say 100% cotton.
I wish I knew where I could get one tested. Anyone know?

Oh right cool. What about the thickness? Are the Hanes tees thicker than the FotL tees?
