Speaking of bamboo, Continental will be carrying the bamboo tees and hoodies sometime in November.

Bamboo Clothes will have more styles and colors available in November also I believe he told me that the men's hoodies will be available as well.

I'll stick to AAA. I know why skater's like it now. My friend own a very successfull company and he gave me the status on why... It's the necks, they're small and don't stretch. Their sizes run big and they don't shrink at all. Those are very important.

I'm not a big fan of small necked shirts

Shrinking is the most important thing. I have tons of shirt that have shrunk but the AAA won't budge. Besides, it's not even about what I like, it's what sells.

Most of the shirts I've purchased (including the Bamboo ones) don't shrink. I've only found a small minority of shirts shrink after washing.

Agreed This was just posted for people that are looking for a different brand of premium t-shirts to try.

Many times what you like and what your customers would like are the same. Sometimes not, but it can give you a starting point.

Reading through this thread, I've thought of a potential solution: I know you can purchase the bamboo as fiber and as yarn from various places. If it were possible to get it as already woven fabric, you could offer to your customers that you'll send them out a small sample of the fabric to feel for themselves. Purchasing a large roll of the fabric may be a bit unreasonable... but cutting up some t-shirts that are un-sellable for whatever reason (mis-prints, perhaps), isn't!

That's a pretty neat idea, Joe. I don't think it would be feasible for retail customers, but for wholesale customers (like if you were working as a printer), it would be a great way to show them the softness of a premium garment without having to send them the whole shirt.

I recently received an email from AndyMulley in the forums. He is in the UK and can source the shirts you are looking for. I am so new, I don't know how to connect you two via emai! Sorry! I'll try to figure it out.

Best of luck finally getting going with your idea! Keep us all posted!

I find the necks are quite loose and thin with a feminine appearance. I really dont expect to see my collar bones when sporting a t-shirt. Soft and comfy for sure but the overall look isnt for me or my market. I actually think they are working to change that loose fragile neck.

My experience with bamboo:
I got a few from Continental (70/30). They're really nice and very soft, no question about that. The only thing I didn't like is that after the first wash it shrunk quite a bit. A lot more then regular cotton t-shirts. I could barely put it on.

Did you dry the shirt completely in the dryer?
