Default Assuming same material types....

Can you assume that if you've tested a transfer and wash on a plain Hanes 50/50, then the style won't matter if you bought the exact same vendor, weight, material, etc? For example, transfer test on a plain T, then purchase the same weight/material on a Womens shape, tank top, raglan, etc from the same vendor.

I'd like to stock some sample Ts to show the weights and materials, but then if someone wants a long sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, tank top, raglan, of the same vendor, weight, and material, the transfer quality should be exactly the same.

I know you should always test on the final product, but I was wondering if this assumption would be true....just curious....

Default Re: Assuming same material types....

If you wanted to be really sure you'd need to test each production batch, but that would be paranoid (and just really unnecessary). Realistically you should be fine.
