Default Gildan Ultra 6.1 oz vs Gildan Heavywight 5.3

I see here that someone else has asked the same question as me, but it does not seem like anyone has answered my specific question. Is the 5.3 Gildan just going to fall apart after a few washes? And why or why not do you choose the 5.3 oz Gildan over the 6.1?
Than you so much everyone!

Many folks seem to like the "heavier feel" of the 6.1 oz shirt. However, the 5.3 oz is a lighter weight..especially for summer.

As everyone said, it is just a lighter shirt. It wont fall apart after a few washes unless you are washing it with acid and rocks =)
I would use the 5.3 for colors nd the 6.1 for whites and light colors just becausee they were thicker and didnt show skintone.
