Marc Ecko probably comes to mind when I think about where I want to take my line...(who is probably cut and sew status) My designs and vision tell me cut and sew...my wallet tells me blank tee's...ha ha!
Now thinking of it, I don't know if Alstyle can hang with what I want...but everyone needs to start somewhere =) | | | | | |
I would test out those brands. You may find that you like them better than alstyle.
It's a bit hard to keep suggesting brands without you having a point of reference so you can say "no, I don't like that brand" or "yes, I like the fit of that brand" or "more like the feel of this brand".
Also check out bareapparel.com. I just sampled a couple of their blanks and they are very soft and geared towards a higher end audience.
I'm sure ekco is cut and sew, and he probably uses different t-shirt weights and fabrics for different styles.
There's also the option of cut and sew through highstyleinc.com. We're getting
this year's t-shirtforums.com t-shirts through high style all done custom from scratch. They are
offering a special right now in the classifieds.
It really depends on the quantities you are running per design whether you are ready to go the cut and sew route.
There are LOTS of great t-shirt styles/brands out there available wholesale that can fit just about any demographic. It's just a matter of setting aside some money in your budget for sampling.
