Default what kind of cotton is the best "breathing" one?

hi,
im opening a label and i search for 100% cotton tees.
my question is which cotton tees gives you the most "breathing" fabric feeling without beeing a thin fabric that looks cheap...ring spun, pima?i want a "breathing" cotton but in the same time i plan to buy thick tees(something like 7 oz.)so it wont look like the shirt is falling.....
thank you.

100% cotton is a breathable fabric - obviously the thinner it is the more breathable it will feel - not that it is more breathable.

If you really want breathable fabric go for bamboo or performance fabrics. If you search for either of those terms in the forums you will find lots of threads.

Performance fabrics are typically polyester or other synthetic materials, but they are very comfortable to wear due to the design of the knit and the moisture wicking qualities they possess. A lot of brands offer this type of shirt now, look for words like "performace fabric" or "Moisture wicking" in a search on any supplier site and you will likely find several. They do tend to be a bit pricier than standard cotton tees, but for the right market they are worth the price.

Offhand you can find a few styles at Vapor Apparel, Cal-Cru, Augusta, Colorado Timberline among others.

You might also check out Fruit of the Loom's all cotton athletic "wicking fabric" which is 6.1oz and is supposed to be breathable.
