Default Looking for an Alternative to Russell T-shirts

I have a high school team that has used Russell T-shirts in the past for their practice shirts, and he wants to do business with me, but I don't think I can get Russell because I'm not a retail sporting goods store.

Does anybody know of any good quality T-shirts that would have a similar durability as Russell? Or is Russell really any more durable than a typical 6.1 oz T-shirt? I just need something durable that will stand up to daily practice wear to offer him.

Thanks for any help,
rusty

I would check with Badger sporting goods. They have a nice line of athetic wear and you can buy direct fro the factory. Good luck ..... JB

JB, does Badger make a regular T-shirt? 50/50 or 100% cotton? All I can find from Badger is wicking or the specialty shirts.

Is this what you are referring to:
S & S Sportswear, Inc.
If so, they only carry pants. I don't see anything else in google named S&S Sportwear.

Does Champion still sell t-shirts? Theirs was a heavyweight type tee like Russell.

Maybe a t-shirt from Reebok would work: Commerce Storefront B2C

Here's the Champion T2102 7oz t-shirt that looks pretty durable:

There's also the T525 that is 6.1 oz:

Thanks Rodney! I didn't know that Alpha sold Champion. Wow, that 7 oz shirt better be pretty good considering its priced at $6.74. That's over twice as much as the 6.1 oz version. I'll have to get a sample and check them out.

Yeah, those 7 oz are wonderful. It's the same shirt you would find in a university bookstore or gift shop. I have one that I printed 17 years ago for a racquetball tournament, and it's still going strong.
