I am looking for an organic cotton t-shirt wholesaler. More specifically, I am looking for the softest tagless organic cotton t-shirts for women that I can find. Short- and long-sleeved. They need to be comfy comfy for busy moms.
search the forums on this topic -- there are several relevant threads with great info. i would suggest trying royal apparel for all made in usa organic; american apparel should also have what you want. good luck!
I can't quote the actual prices here, but at American Apparel the difference between their standard short sleeve women's tee in traditional cotton and the same shirt in organic cotton is only $1.15, according to the wholesale price list I have. I don't have numbers handy for Royal, but suspect the difference should be comprable.
Then again, if you're not quite as picky on quality, you should check Anvil Organics for standard short sleeve mens, womens and youth tees. Their prices are about $2 less than organics at Royal or American.
Thanks for passing along what you know. That's really helpful. I will look at all of them.
At this point, I will likely shy away from the lower-quality blanks. We're developing more of a fashion line, and we don't want to disappoint after somebody drops something like $50 retail for for the tee.

You should probably be sure to check out ONNO, too. They have organic cotton and organic cotton/bamboo. In my opinion you can't beat the attention to detail with this brand. They have great shirts -- a bit pricey, though. About $2 more than American or Royal, but worth checking out ifyou're really trying to do top notch.
Thank you guys.... I am VEEERRRYYY new to T shirt forum and I have been digging around for organic wholesaler info and pricing. This has been very helpful. I have not started my biz yet, still looking at its feasibility, costing and ideas i wanna get out there.
Do we know if any of the organic suppliers are use certified material?

Anyone selling organic blanks should be able to provide a copy of their certification -- which is basically just a document showing batch numbers of organic cotton, where they were purchased and when. If they won't provide you a copy, I'd look elsewhere.
I have the cert from Royal Apparel, not sure about the other guys. Cotton is grown in Texas.
If you're looking for Made in USA, you can also try Spiritex and SOS.
