I won't deal with sanmar ever again. We run a newsletter to our customers one shared it with another company that turned us in to sanmar for selling 1 percent below the 30% they require for Nike. 30 day penalty you can't purchase from them. What a crock. All over the internet the big brick distributors are selling at prices lower than us but they do nothing. Protecting the giants while they stomp on the smaller business. Funny how they pick on david but don't bother goliath.
I like Bodek and they have no favoritism for the huge shops.
Wow - didnt realize that. I dont usually deal with SanMar. The three I use the most are S&S, NES, and Heritage. I never use a supplier that doesn't offer case pricing on any amount. I have only come across that one time and that was with Atlantic Coast Cotton.

Well.. If its in there T & A then you knew ahead of time..
I imagine the rules are not from sanmar at all but are from Nike..
that being said.. like with anything else.. just because someone else is doing it doesnt mean they have permission.. they just mite not have been caught yet..

Just because they offer you case pricing, doesn't mean it is the best price you can get. Sanmar offered me case pricing. For the most common items I use, I get better pricing from other vendors without having to buy a case.
Some vendors offer 4th column pricing which is better than case pricing. I belong to a pricing group which enables me to get 4th column pricing with some vendors. I believe if you do a certain high volume with a vendor you may be eligible for better pricing. You would have to contact your rep to see if you qualify. If you need to place a large order you can contact vendors to see if they can offer a better price but receiving a lower price may exclude a "free freight deal" so consider that when placing your order.
Imprints Wholesale offers case pricing on individual items if you order from their website. And they offer free shipping on orders over $250 except white shirts.
