Ok so I got a sample of Anvil's 779, Alstyle won't answer my email and Continental is too expensive (though very good).
What other brands are there that have either a TearAway label or no neck label at all? American Apparel? Something else? There's gotta be more than what I've found so far.
Anvil was 'ok' but not quite what I was hoping for. Perhaps I could work with that but I wouldn't mind finding something a bit more... mmm... fine?
What is the issue with the Anvil? Shirt quality or tear-away issues? Can you post a close up pic of the tear away anvil label area after it was removed?

I agree with you. Anvil is ok, but I tried Alstyle shirts and I like them better. I ordered the 1701....they have the tear away tags in them. You can create an account online and then order samples of different t-shirts you're interested in. Once you make an account it'll give you the different prices by piece, dozen, case. But not all of the shirts have the tear away tags in them...only certain styles so you might want to give them a call and they'll tell you if it has the tear away tag or not.
Try Alstlye Apparel! All their new AAA brand tees come with tear away tags! This is also a great priced line!
Yes I'd love to but I can't seem to get in touch with anyone at Alstyle. Their site clearly instructs international customers to place orders directly from the US but it's impossible to create a new customer ID online and not give false information, since that online form is only meant for customers in the US. And they don't seem to answer direct emails either.

Ok I just created a new customer ID online. I had to submit some 'false' information since I'm not from the States. But in any case now I can see their prices and I love 'em! Their prices kick arse big time! I gotta get me some of those!
If I can't get them directly, I'm hoping a friend of mine in the US could possibly order them and then send them to me.
And Splathead; I can take a picture of the torn label area for you in a short while.
Alrighty, so here's a picture of the torn label area on the Anvil shirt. The smaller picture within the picture is a shot of the Cotton material. It's has quite a rough feel to it and doesn't feel too comfy. It's kinda 'stretchy' too, if you're into that kind of thing. But overall, like I said, it doesn't quite meet my hopes for it.
To be honest I trimmed the torn label area with small scissors to make it tidier but that only took two seconds so it was no work at all.
