Default Delta Men's shirts?

We currently use Gildan 2000 for our mens shirts. We're thinking about switching to the Delta, strictly due to price.
Does anyone use Delta men's shirts, and if so how is the quality? Do they hold up?
It's a pretty significant price difference, but if the quality isn't there it's not worth it.

Any input is appreciated!

Thanks!
Nate

Delta is good quality. The issue I've had with them in the past is that they are really set up to handle very large orders. They charge a $15.00 handling fee on orders under $250.00. I'm just not big enough to use them very often. I've also run into fullfillment issues with them in the past.

Good luck,

Ken

I had some issues with the shirts shrinking more than a Gildan shirt and also found the service charge a bit more than normal as well.

Also a lot of times I found that the shipments cme from multiple warehouses which also increased the shipping fees.

I switched to Gildan shirts and found a local supplier so the shirts come overnight and the shipping is much less.

Delta is a real good shirt in our eyes. Im a bigguy so i personally hate shrinkage. They wash well with our tests, and our customers love them.
As far as the surcharges. Thats a thing of the past as of Jan 1st i believe. My sales guy informed us last month. I know this because we stopped ording for that exact reason. IT really hurt them
The biggest downfall we have encountered is stock. Sweats are great in our eyes, but try to get them. really tough on stock. I think its because they have only become direct, in the last 2 years.

Quality ~ Thumbs up
Price ~ Thumbs up
Washability and shrinkage~ Thumbs up
Availablilty ~ thumbs down

Delta's quality is poor. Their deliveries from multiple locations cause a problem with boxes not being delivered timely. We have been delivered defective merchandise, and it we had to pay to ship it back to them. Stick with Gildan.

I had a sample Delta tee that I washed once and was never able to wear again because it shrunk and twisted so much.

Delta is a good shirt. Very comparable to Hanes, Gildan, etc... They do not shrink any more than anything else. The only ones I had problems with are the Quail Hollow? Combed cotton, Yes these are the ones that shrink. The Regular T's Magnum weight and pro-weight do not have the shrink issues, these are the ones comparable to the Gildan...
As far as shipping the web site says specifically they ship from multiple location, just as other companies do. To prevent the problem of multiple ship locations make sure eveything is in-stock and being shipped from the same warehouse. I use this company ALL the time, as one warehouse is located in middle Tn. As far as customer service goes they are one of the best, I have had great service. I have also used Jiffy shirts, you cannot reach them by phone. And Eric McCrite I was using for my Soffe apparel has horrible service, so bad I had to get an account directly with Soffe. I mention this because I have no service problems with this company at all, and they do have good quality shirts at a better price. Hope this helps.

The only real way to find out if the quality is sufficient for you is to order some samples. Wear 'em and wash 'em. The few dollars you spend on the samples will be well worth it. However, it's been my experience that every time I've made a decision based solely on price, it's bitten me in the rear.

We have used the delta pro weight for a couple years now.We also wear the shirts...the only issue I have with them is they are a little shorter in length than the gilldan...we left delta and went back to bobeck and rhodes when delta stated the sevice charge...(they have stoped that) We in the last order went back to delta due to shipping charges with the other companys....bodeck wanted 70 to ship the order 45 miles and delta shipped it from tenn for $18....you do the math!!!yes the do ship from different locations when you order make sure to ask were its being shiped from...the staff at delta is great to deal with as well....we have had a couple problem our the yaers but they have fixed them quickly at there cost....we have never had to pay for there misake!!

I use delta and gildan both shirts are about the same quality, I like using delta b/c i can pick up the shirts at the local warehouse im Clinton, TN. The only problem I have with delta is inventory they are almost always out of a size or color when I have an order from a customer for lets say a Kelly green shirt, so I just use staton out of memphis to order gildan
