Default Hoodies and printing?

Hope this is in the right place.

Before I go just want to say great site.

Anyways I'm very interested in starting to sell hoodies with certain logos on them and I've been reading most of the night and it seems that I'm better off getting the hoodies and printing off the on place it would also save me getting them delivered then sent for printing then delivered again.

Can anyone recemmend me a palce were I can buy about 900 good quality hoodies, I''d want the printing to cover most of the back.

I'd be vey gratefull if somone could point in right area.

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum. Your question is a little confusing to me, but as far as where to get the hoodies, usually local wholesalers are the first place to check. If you can find one, that'll save you shipping if you can do local pick up, and your orders can usually be delivered the next day if you can't pick up.

Once you find some local suppliers, you can choose your hoodies based on price and quality. It's great to get some samples and test them out, and wash them to see how they hold up. Your name is going on them, so it's nice to see what product people will be looking at when they remember they bought if from you, and do they want more of them.

Try a couple out before placing the order of 900. best regards.

Thanks for the reply. I can't get them where I am, I'm looking for somewhere online where I can buy about 900 good quality hoodies and send them the printing that I want on the back and let them do it and then get them sent to me.

So you're saying you want a manufacturer that produces hoodies to also print them, right? I believe that's what your asking. Anyhow, it's possible, but most of those suppliers will ask for a minimum to do something like that and 900 hoodies isn't adequate enough for this type of request based on some of the folks I've spoken to. However, you might want to call Independent Trading company. But, just as GirlznDollz said, you might want to start off small...do a few washes and then order a big amount.

Yeah, I'm agree with BnF, I'm not sure what you have in mind.

I thought you were looking to order 900 hoodies and have them printed somewhere else.

Have you looked at local screen printers? Alot of times, they will have hoodies there for you to see, or they can order them for you, and they can do the printing. There may be mark ups on the hoodies over the wholesale cost, find out and negotiate it if you can.

An alternative is to set up a wholesale account online, order your own hoodies and have them screened locally. If you bring your own hoodies in there may be a per piece charge for doing this, find out, and again, try to negotiate it if there is one.

I consider your order large. Maybe try to work with a screen printer who will feel this is a large order for them, they will value your business more and try to make you happier than a printer who views you as a small order.

If you use someone local, you can go to the shop and see their quality first hand.

That is why I advised you to order a sample hoodie from different suppliers you find, so you can compare quality. You can still do this if you order from them online. Online wholesalers usually carry a wide variety of lines and quality, find a supplier you like and try to get a few different hoodies from them, and pay one shipping charge.

You can do searches here for hoodie quality and get input from other members as to what hoodies they like and why. It helps figure out what is in the quality target range you are looking for.

Do you have a reseller license or tax id yet?

Joe,

Here is a look at the discussion some of our screenprinting members and others on the subject of an order small than yours. The valuable part for you is from the part about the 675 piece job, this is for tee shirts, but if you go to Alpha Shirt.com, you will see the wholesale difference between hoodies and tees. It's pretty big, but you will be able to get an idea what is happening on the screen printing side when you are pursing getting this order done.
At what point do you call a screen printer?
