Default How do I support American cotton farmers?

I just received all but a few of my initial samples
of tees and realized that every single one of them
are made outside the US.

Mexico, Peru, El Salvador, India, Guatemala,
China, Honduras, etc - but nothing made in the
US.

Does anyone know where I can buy tees that are
made of US grown cotton, manufactured in the
US, or somehow supports America other than the
US postal service?

I'd prefer organic cotton and/or pigment dyed (like
Desert Wash, District Threads, Authentic Pigment,
etc) but that may be a bit too much to ask.

Thanks for your help!

Alot of cotton is grown around where we live down here in the south, and is exported to those countries... so in a round about way, you are helping.

But there are places here in the states such as American Apparel or Astees - that are made here. Just search the blanks forum and you'll see a list.

American apparel or Alternative apparel are a good start.

Alternative Apparel's garments aren't all made or grown in the USA.

Just search for "made in usa" or union made blanks. There are several of them out there.

You can find a few vendors listed here: made in usa related topics at T-Shirt Forums

Thanks for the replies! I considered American
Apparel, but I bought a sample and I'm not too
crazy about the slim fit tee.

I'll check the resources listed above and maybe
find something suitable.

Thanks again!
