T-shirt blank horror story - infantblanks.com - credit card fraud after purchase
Wow, i just had the WORST experience with the site infantblanks.com (associated with daydreamers.com).
I placed an order with them a couple weeks ago for an order of blank onesies and other baby items. The credit card i used to place this order ended up getting fraudulent charges made on it and the bank shut down my account a short time later. I didn't make any connection here, since i place orders other places online and I've had this happen to me in the past.
A week went by, we still hadn't received our order, but found we needed more product than originally expected. We then placed another order using my business partner's card - since mine had been shut down by the bank due to the fraudulent charges. This card was a new card and had only been used to place and order on this site as well as for an order with monag.com (a company we've used plenty of times in the past with no problem.). When we discovered that the very next day this card had been used fraudulently and also shut down we were afraid infantblanks.com was possibly to blame, since the card hadn't been used anywhere else. We were also both left without functioning business credit cards.
We called infantblanks.com and asked to speak to a supervisor. We calmly explained that it might be possible that someone from their company may have gotten a hold of our cc numbers and used them inappropriately. Since the cards aren't automatically billed, we can tell that the credit card #s are just captured and then manually entered later. The guy was nice and apologetic and told us he'd actually had another similar complaint earlier. We told him that we, as website owners ourselves, just wanted to make him aware there was a problem. It wasn't meant to be an accusation and we weren't planning any action against them, just making them aware of the situation. The conversation ended calmly.
Not 10 minutes later my business partner got a phone call from someone from the company (daydreamers.com) who was very heated and very unbusiness-like. This person started making threats telling him that he had our account information and he'd "come find him (my business partner) and straighten him out" and also said he'd "put a hit out on him". He then hung up on us. When we asked his name he responded with an obviously fabricated name.
All over this!!!! Is this really worth threatening someone's LIFE?!?!?!
We then called back to infantblanks.com to speak to the person we spoke to before. We explained our experience with the other individual and asked for both of their names. We were given no information, and again, got hung up on. We tried calling back, but the phones were shut off. We tried later, and the phones were answered with what seemed to be a man trying to fake a female with a british accent trying to confuse us into thinking we'de reached a wrong number, i suppose.
This is ridiculous and COMPLETELY unprofessional. Please stay away from this company.

Yes it is. Please be careful. They are cheap, which is why we went with them in the first place. But it is NOT worth it. They are not a trustworthy business. I would go with monag or wholesalebabyblanks.com instead. They are a little more expensive, but have been great companies to work with and have a better selection of products.

I placed several orders on 2/14 and one of them was to infantblanks.com- I got a call from by bank with questions on my account-on the 16th. The thieves got 80.00 from me and tried to get another 350.00 from me - but i used my debit card and there was no extra money. It took me several days to figure it could have been them- in the meantime I went to the police and filed a report. After I saw you info then I realized it was them-- I did let this jerk know that I filed a police report and he acting like he didn't care. what a jerk

I would call the local police wherever this company is located. You have clearly stumbled upon some kind of organized crime and I don't see any reason to believe that the death threat was not legitimate.

The same thing happened to me after placing an order with them. My credit card had been charged up to it's limit within hours. I actually think it is because their site is not secure and it has been hijacked. I had to give them another credit card over the phone because by the time they got around to charging it for my order - it had reached it's limit by the thieves. Nothing happened with the second credit card. Although, it does not explain the way they reacted to your complaint... really odd.
I have been trying to get an $8.00 refund on a shortage from the above shipment to no avail. It's petty, but hey - it's my hard earned $8.00! After 10 phone calls, I give up.
It's probably best to stay away from this company. If you can't resist - at least place your order over the phone.
