Is true that you can contact a company like 'Fruit of the loom' and get a deal where they can custom produce clothing for you (either tees, hoodies, or pants) as a clothing line owner? By this I mean, cut the material to your specification and all that, and even screen print it for you if need be? How true is this info?

Yes, there are custom clothing houses that will make shirts to your sizes / cut, but I am really not sure if Fruit of the Loom or Hanes will do this and what the quantities would be. Also, not sure how many of them will decorate it for you. You have a much better chance doing this with all-over printing on sublimation using a cut-sew shop that decorates. But, there are definitely shops that do this work.

Sanmar, a popular wholesaler, has cut and sew available, but realize that it's in the thousands of pieces per job.

While I'm not sure if Fruit of the Loom does it, but it is definitely true that several major manufacturers will also custom make garments to your specifications.

As has already been posted, the minimums are usually about 1200+ per style, per color, but some brands will do smaller minimums if you are using a fabric that they already have in stock.

Some companies that I know of off the top of my head that do this are:

AlternativeApparel.com
Continental Clothing
RoyalApparel.net
Alstyle
SummitApparel
BlanksToGo.com

If you visit most manufacturer websites and look around, you'll probably find an option for something similar.

Thanks for the list Rodney. Anyone else with more manufactures in mind?
