Default Hoodies, ARGH!

What hoodies do most of you use when you print?

I wanted to go American Apparel, except I dislike the way that they fit.

I was thinking of going with "APX" because they are comfortable etc. but I don't know where to acquire 50-100 of these for a decent price?

We use Gildan and are happy. Contact Amber at TSC Apparel for good pricing. Say Hi from me.

I try to stick with Gildan or Jerzeez.

Though Gildan is preferred because everytime I order Jerzeez half of the hoodies are messed up, such as adult pockets/hoods on youth sized hoodies.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Gildan hoodies. Their shirts are fine, but the hoodies absolutely fall apart (at least the ones I've received). I switched to fruit of the loom and don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Fruit of the loom hoodies are great as well, they can be more expensive though

You know what's really weird? you can go to walmart and buy them cheaper than from a distributor! I get them for $10 locally, weird.

Very true about the prices- but Fruit of the loom is the best in my opinion.

I've had the same problems with Jerzees too, incorrect proportion on the pockets and sometimes not even threaded correctly. Stains on garments other than hoodies- overall Jerzees seem to lack good quality control.

Gildans are good too, overall.

That is very expensive!! Find yourself a ftl wholesaler.

I use Gildan and I like them very much. The only color I have had trouble with is the pink, it has had what looks like blue ink blots on the sweats. But Gauss (my wholesaler) has been great at replacing them....it's never been an issue. Our customers seem to like the gildans as well.

I am going to give pennant a try tho, I love the color selection they have.

Ah I should've mentioned that I'm talking about zip up's not pull-overs.

Well in that case, Jerzees have been really good for me. Mind you I havent printed on anything else (full zippered) 10$ at the local walmart is pretty good, because Im thinking (Im not positive) its around $12, full zip, plus shipping. (from gauss)

If you are printing on 1/4 zip sweats...whitemountiantraders.com has some really nice things.

Thanks Robin. My wholesale prices are around $12 for zip hoodies as well. I thought 10$ was great so I bought a bunch (though I don't know how long they're going to sit!). Luckily I just released a new design that calls for a black full zip and it seems to be quite popular now that I opened a big cartel store.

Ah okay, I was gonna say....we pay about 4.75 for our FOTL pull overs from our local supplier. And the best part is, he will bring them to us at a moment's notice, without shipping or delivery fees. I haven't priced full zip hoodies lately though...

You can get APX directly from the source at independenttradingco.com

Other places to try would be beimar.com, jericosport.com and buyfleecela.com
