....not cap sleeves.

I showed my client some Bella 1003 and the long sleeve version.

He liked the look (and they will probably upsize so they are not so tight) but is wondering if there is something a little classier even.

100% or cotton with a bit of spandex, for stretch and so they hang nicely and don't look wrinkled.

Black
Scoop neck
short sleeve (not cap)
Heavier weight

Seems like so many of the shirts are cap sleeve or sheer.

The embroiderer suggested District Threads from Sanmar but they seem to be thin, 5.3 oz?

This is for a small family run restaurant, fairly nice.

Any ideas? Time crunch of course <sigh>

Thanks so much!

Diane

What about L.A. T. Scoop Neck Tee (3580) : 5.5 oz 100% combed ringspun cotton?

I did not see those, are they only available from LAT?

I also found the Hanes Silver SL10 and S10C

I was gonna suggest Hanes Silver next.

Broder Bros. - https://www.broderbros.com/cgi-bin/b...ro/bro-index.w - carries L.A. T. or you can order directly from L.A. T. - LAT Sportswear ; however, I noticed buying from Broder is cheaper than buying direct.

I'm sure there are other companies that carry L.A. T. .... I just don't know who they are.

Hmmm, Dianne. I don't know then. The Bella 1003 wasn't in my old catalog but I got a new one in the mail just a minute ago, so now I see what it looks like. What about Desert Wash 1x1 Rib Scoop Neck with Puff Sleeves (DW600). It says it's narrow and fitted.

That doesn't look bad BUT no black! Neat colors though, kinda like comfort colors.

Is 'Raven' not black? It looks black in the catalog.

huh! I guess it could be, it looked more grey in the drop down color box but in the color chip it looks better. Really looks black in the catalog?

Yeah, you're right it does look gray in the drop-down! But click on the link that says 'view in gallery' (just above the drop-down) and it looks black there. And the color swatch really looks black in the printed catalog.

It would 1) Make sense, 2) Prove how stupid it is to rename colours when words like "Black" are perfectly sensible (but I don't know).

The NES advanced search used to let you pick colors to search on, wonder if they would have caught this?

I had to place an order w/VA T's so I added an Anvil, Hanes Silver and a new Bella to the order to see if he likes them. He has not gotten me his logo anyway so things are not looking good for the embroidery!
