| What is the best hoodie you guys have found? Period Well the obvious reason I have to ask is because hoodies are very expensive. It would cost at least $200 to get samples of them. I also searched for hoodie posts but none seem to answer what i'm looking for.
I realize with Tees everyone has their needs.. but with hoodies i'm not so sure.
I have about 6 different hoodie/zip hoodies behind me and some of them (jerzees) are absolute crap in that I can see the threads and the holes from a distance. they all cost around $10-15 each.
My question: I am looking for a very high quality hoodie. I have a nautica hoodie in my closet.. its very old. but feels rock solid and soft. It holds up much better than my Champion U Oregon hoodies.
I bought 20 or so champions at $12.5/14.5 each thinking i would have similar quality.. but I'm finding that I like the hanes comfortblend p170 the most. its like $9.5. It feels much better than the champion to me. the champion is not very soft, though I feel it may hold up better to washings.
I'm wondering what brand specifically you all like at what pricerange? I saw the thread "about hoodies" but most of you just say style/fabric type.
I'm most curious about $20+ hoodies, because they are too expensive for me to buy simply to test.
Thanks everyone. | |

| Re: What is the best hoodie you guys have found? Period From a thickness (weight) standpoint the two best (and most expensive at $20 wholesale) that I know of are:
1. Lee Reverse Weave
2. Champion Reverse Weave.

| Re: What is the best hoodie you guys have found? Period if you ever manage to get your hands on an APX hoodie, they're really nice. I don't know where to get them; everyone I know who gets them gets them from the company direct, and having printed on them a few times I can say they're really nice. Good price, good feel (soft like an American Apparel, but a little bit thicker, I think), overall they're pretty sweet.

| Re: What is the best hoodie you guys have found? Period just looked at my new broder price list. fruit of the loom is listed as 12oz. they don't carry the lee any more. i've looked before, i bet you these super cottons are 5 bucks cheaper than anything else in its class and 10 dollars cheaper than the champion heavy weight. 20 bucks is a rip, and makes your finished goods over priced. 12oz. fleece is not going to be soft prior to washing. get a angora sweater they are much softer if thats what you're worried about. | |

Super high quality? It seems I have completely thought of this wrong.
Again, i'm comparing the quality level to a nautica hoodie I have that has been washed hundreds of times and feels amazing. (too bad its white, so its not so white anymore..)
The other hoodie reccomendations are extremely helpful though, and I thank you for that!
I emailed buyfleecela and independent trade co a week ago but no responses.
I plan to try out the lees and FOTL soon.
But I do still wonder if there are ultra premium blank hoodies out there. You know? there is always excessive quality. Where you pay twice the price for %30 better. the absolute best. or maybe the fotl/lees/contintental/jerico/independent/buyfleece hoodies are as good as hoodies get?
I think I will try the continentals as well because I am ordering their heavyweight and bamboo tees. The problem with continental was that they do not carry WHITE!

| Re: What is the best hoodie you guys have found? Period champion makes a heavey weight. my friend had me get him one. even with case pricing it was was ten bucks more than the fruit of the loom. it might be softer though. i think most people understand that fleece softens with washing and everyone has been impressed by the FOTL's and they soon become a favorite with them. my friend who bought the champion swears by it. funny thing is he hasn't bought more even though he has money. seems to me starting with blanks in the mid twenties is just high. besides you may find out what its like to screw up a hundred dollars worth of fleece in seconds(i have a auto press) the thicker and softer the harder they are to print. who have you found that carries the lee heavey weight? stan | |
