Default Need Cap Sleve, Soft, Mens T's exactly like G-star.

Hey Gang, Im looking for athletic cut tee's for guys. The sleeves are not really cap but they are shorter than normal. They are an athletic cut slim fit, sometimes outside stitch, 100% cotton preferably. Very Soft. I've looked at all the big boys but dont see anything Im looking for. Everything from them seems to be very cookie cutter. The shirts need to be as similar as possible to a line like G-star. Thanks everyone

Which are the "big boys" that you've looked at already?

Companies like continental, AA. Places like that. the way my eye sees it, Most tshirts that are printed are pretty standard stuff. under all the artwork you have a basic tee. Then there are those tees that feel different than combed cotton or siliconed. they have a more exclusive feel. the stitching is sometimes on the outside or the general "Feel" of the shirt is different. They are also somewhat lighter than a regular tee. Often times they have a slight v-neck as well. I dont want a standard tee to print on anymore and Im just looking for something different. I've seen shirts like this in stores like Ocean Drive and places like that. Its my bad for not getting an RN but when i go back to get one all the shirts are sold out. Ocean drive doesnt manufacture their stuff either.. So im kind of at a loss. Thanks for any help you can give.

What you just described is what places like Continental Clothing, American Apparel, Article 1, Alternative Apparel, Pacific Sports, Royal Apparel, TheApparelAgents sells.

Have you actually purchased samples from these companies? It's hard to "see" the "feel" and cut of the t-shirt just by looking at the website.

Sometimes that exclusive "feel" is enhanced by the fact that it's in an "exclusive" store or produced by an "exclusive" brand.

It's likely that the t-shirts you're looking for are custom made garments to the brand's exact specifications. You won't be able to find a similar t-shirt from wholesalers if it's really something unique.

You would have to order t-shirts by the 1000's to get them produced exactly the way you want. You probably could even send one of those t-shirts you like to a manufacturer and they may be able to match the quality.

Have you tried bamboo t-shirts yet? They definitely have a different feel to them.

Thanks for the info. I dont have a problem with having 1000 made the way I want them. I will get samples from the big boys. the reason i havent is I just dont see the cut I'm looking for. But maybe I'll fly up with a sample to show them and perhaps have them do a run. I havent tried bamboo because I assumed DTG wouldnt work. 100% cotton is always what I've used and is whats recomemded for the process. Thanks for your help

Sorry, I didn't know you were using DTG.

Although I had a bamboo t-shirt printed with DTG and it turned out OK.

That would probably be the best way. If you're looking into getting 1000's of garments made to your custom specs, then you have a lot of options open to you. Outsourcing to overseas factories via alibaba, finding US based manufacturers that can cut and sew what you need, contracting an existing wholesaler (like Alternative, Continental, etc) and work with their custom garment creation process, etc.
