Default need help with choosing a white blank tee

Hello everyone,

I need to get some 100 percent cotton tee for adult and youth in white. I don't want something that's see through and looks cheap. Is gildan heavy weight ultra cotton good shirt? Or are there any other recommendations?

Thank you

What are you using the t-shirt for?

The Gildan is a pretty standard t-shirt with decent quality (you can find more opinions about it by searching the forums for Gildan).

It's not a "fashionable" shirt, but it's a good "regular" shirt.

Depending on what you're using it for, it could be either perfect for your market or the wrong shirt altogether

I'm using it for silk screening. Any recommendations on any other tee shirt companies with great quality blank white tees?

Thank you I greatly appreciate it,

Hmm...do you use www.statonwholesale.com ? That is one of the companies I use, regularly. Not sure about everyone else. We just got through printing 200 white tee's for a Fitness Meet - we did them in Hanes Authentic - Tagless # 5250 It's a 6.1 ounce - so its a heavier shirt - prints nice, and it looks more "expensive" with it having no tag. --- For general screenprinting. You can catch them on sale quite often, but they run around 1.04 - 1.10 for regular sizes.

Also, one reason I like these are - they are not as oversized as the Gildan 2000. More closer to actual size.

I didn't really mean the print method, I meant more of "who is the end customer that is going to be buying this t-shirt".

That really defines what t-shirt you should use.

There are dozens of white blank t-shirt choices out there if you go to a company like SanMar or TSCApparel.com you'll have many brands to choose from.

Try this list for starters: The Tee shirt "a " List

Are the Hanes Tagless 6.1 oz ones nicer than their ones they sell at Walmart in packs that are tagless?

What specifically do you mean by "nicer"?

No, the difference between the hanes tagless and the walmart tagless won't bring you up to the level of t-shirts found in the Armani Exchange line.

A hanes t-shirt won't be the same as an Armani t-shirt.

You may want to start a new topic for this separate question though. Searching through this section of the forum for armani and quality t-shirts will bring up several posts about how those shirts are made and alternative tees to try.
