I'm looking to order Custom t-shirts with my logo and design on the tshirt from a company in China. They said they can do everything there....design...labels...packing..etc.. Has anyone had experiences with China companies? Any companies you would recommend?
Also, for their minimum amounts ....how many different design can I get within the minimum amt requirement. Lets say minimum is 100 T-shirts....it doesn't necessarily means it's all one design correct?
Please share your experiences if you had ordered custom shirts from China. Thanks

Yes, that means all the t-shirts have to have the same design.
If you're doing quantities of "hundreds", then there's no real incentive for getting the t-shirts done in China.
You can get them done from a screen printer local to you (or one you can find online) and get everything you need.
Huge price differences maybe, but often huge quality differences go along with that. You'd better know who you're dealing with in China, or make sure you have a reliable agent who does. Otherwise, I'd suggest your risk-reward ratio is skewed to the downside.
Any company recommendations here in the USA to do custom tshirts with tags and packaging..the whole nine?
I reason i'm leaning towards China is that i heard of huge price differences btw China vs USA.
Since we have many printers in the forum, we don't give out printer recommendations in the forum that might encourage self promotion.
But as you read threads in the forum and search for information, you will see leads and info on finding these companies. Even searches of google for screen printing with start you off with good leads.

Only when you are ordering 1000's of the same design.
When you in the 100's of the same design (or less), it's just as easy an economical to get them done at the many printers in the US that do that type of work.
I'm figuring out the importing right now too but honestly I can't imagine why you'd want to import anything under a few hundred shirts especially if they are just cotton shirts.... and especially if it's a hundred then split in to seperate designs...
I'm looking at importing as I'm talking 1,000+ shirts and non-cotten
Have you thought of getting American Apparel shirts, cutting out the tags (they have seperate brand and care/materials tags) and then putting your own hang tag on them?
The only thing I will add about importing from China is>>>Caveat Emptor
Buyer be Beware
If for example you import Valencia oranges from China you will definite get oranges but no guarantee they will be Valencia oranges.
The only way to overcome that problem is to be a very large importer and can afford a reliable agent or have your own people employed there in china who can oversee the loading of your container.
Even than you can get caught
Look at what only just happened recently with the lead paint on the toys of well known companies, like Mattel,
More than 1 million of the popular "Thomas & Friends" wooden railway toys made in China are being voluntarily recalled because some may contain lead paint, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Wednesday.
I have heard from different smaller importers going to China seeing and supervising the goods being loaded into a container, container was sealed and locked, when the goods were unloaded in Australia, they were not the same goods that he witnessed that were loaded in China in front of him.
I encourage small importers (10,000 or less DOZEN) to try their hand at bringing in shirts from China. It's good for those of us who sell blanks in North America.
My biggest customer this year is buying blanks from me and having them printed in large quantities weekly, because the container he ordered from China has been delayed due to ..... paper work etc. could be anything from quota to poor freight forwarding etc. I say ... "no rush" we gotcha covered.
My guess is the container had/has about 1,000 cases or about 70,000 shirts that he has also paid for in advance.
When importing product of any kind from any country, make sure you have all your bases covered.
