In YOUR opinion please list your top three T-Shirt Makes and Model # you prefer for each of the following categories. Please do not let price and service play a part in your decision here. I know this is subjective however listing them in an order within a category would greatly help me and maybe others. It may also help to post what the majority of your goods are use for, Designer Tees, Advertisement etc. Thanks

Rodney, I don't have any yet (LOL) that's why I am asking. I did indeed read the threads you suggested before I asked this question. I have been up and down this site (and others) learning as much as I can. The thing I am finding with this subject is it is very subjective and that is why I asked the question the way I did. If I know lets say what a particular person likes and how they rate them that will give me alot more focused information, rather than reading one person thinks this shirt is softer and another person thinks another is softer etc. I am getting close to ordering samples to check out, but I was hoping not to have to order so many, that I could narrow my choices down a little. For example from threads on this forum I have read, American Apparel doesn't seem to appeal to many people, they were top of my list to get samples but have been moved to the bottom of my list. Thanks

I think a better way to get a specific answer would be to specific YOUR usage for the t-shirt and people can recommend t-shirts based on YOUR needs.
Even if I don't like brand A, it still may be perfect for YOUR needs and a great quality for the customers that YOU serve.
So the other threads will give you a good guideline, but at the end, you need to pull the info from the threads and posts that talk about your specific demographic. If you don't find a thread that matches that, then start one that asks about that.
Because even worded how you have it above, it sounds very confusing and subjective, and doesn't really answer the core question of "which t-shirt brand would be best for me"
For example from threads on this forum I have read, American Apparel doesn't seem to appeal to many people, they were top of my list to get samples but have been moved to the bottom of my list.
I hate American Apparel, but I still use them (sometimes) and would still advise you to get samples from them.
It's not only subjective, it's complicated. Fortunate then that blank t-shirts are so damn cheap you can afford to try them all.

Rodney, I really don't understand why my question is so confusing, complex maybe. I am asking what Ts in order 1, 2, 3 you like better based on your own experience, and to comment on what you use these for, promotional, Hi end designer, It gives a specific comparison between 3 items in 3 catogories based on a persons use and opinion. I am not asking for others to tell me what product to use, that will be my choice, however others peoples history and experience with different produts is a huge help.
Lewis, I did not say you have to like them just list three that you think is best in each catagory and state what you use them for. Your right some are cheap, and others not so cheap, and if you buy a sample of every t available I think (I know) it could be an expense that can be minimized.
I do have a few hundred dollars of t's on order from Gildan, Anvil, Hanes and Bella to start with...haven't gotten them yet. But I guess if I have to do it the expensive and hard way I will, I thought this forum could have been of more help on this subject, but who da thunk?
That's just the point, it is subjective but it really doesn't matter what YOU like so much as what your CUSTOMERS like/want. Take a look at what YOUR market tends to wear (brand, style, etc.) If no one in your target demographic wears AA why would you consider it?
Kind regards,
Sean

We're trying to help you based on our experience, but sometimes the answer isn't as simple as you want.
I think if you continue reading through the threads, it might become more clear.
If you want to know about a specific brand, you can use the forum search and find dozens and dozens of threads with experiences, tips, feedback about that specific brand.
Your customers may LOVE American Apparel t-shirts. Without knowing what you're using them for or what your customers (demographic) are looking for, the answers you get may all be irrelevant for you. If you're in some markets and you don't use AmericanApparel, you could be shooting yourself in the foot. You have to try to read the answers that are relevant to your situation.
Yes I understand its subjective, that is why I said 'In your opinion'. I think you guys are making more out of the question than what is there. Lets try this, who has sampled different makes and model tee's? OK, did you think one was softer than another, and maybe another softer then them two. Well that would be the order of catagory 'Soft' / I liked these 3 and this one more than the other, and by the way I use these for mostly promotional products. This way within one mans (womans) subjective opinion they have graded 3 tees in a catagory against each other. It's a little frustrating I guess, because I really don't think I am asking a very hard or difficult question. I am not asking you to suggest a product to me nor understand what my cudtomers want....I was asking what YOUR OPINION between different Tee's in three different catagories were base on YOUR experience.
After I am done sampling products and someone asked me 'in my opinion' what do I think the 3 top Softest T's are and what order... I could tell them. I really do appreciate the help, but this is a really simple question to anyone who has sampled more than a handfull of t's
Thanks

Sometimes a question that seems simple is more difficult that you imagined. It's not uncommon.

I guess my question would be, why are you asking that if it's not for a product you will be using or a product your customers will be using?
Maybe the lack of response is because people prefer answering questions that have a specific purpose so they don't feel like they are typing for no reason.
Rodney, well the end game is that yes my question is to help establish a final product(s). Alot of the young women in my area are not particularly happy with the feel, fit and durability of some of the products they have been buying, and they tell me and my associates they pay good money for these products that they are not thrilled about. They don't care what name is on the tag, Gildan, Bella, AA, whatever... they want a soft, shapley fit, durable custom printed clothing and they are willing to pay nicely for it. I don't like wasting my time nor would I waste anyone elses times asking a question for no reason.
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There you go, now that was helpful, one mans opinion about three brands. Now see I just got an educated and measured opinion about three different products head to head (about softness) from a non biased source. That is sooo much better than comparing what 6 different people say about 6 different products. Thats excactly what I was looking for. And if others choose to weigh in I should be able to build a score of one brand being better at one thing than another. Thanks so much, sorry for giving you a hard time. I hope others will post.

If you would have included this information in the first post, you probably would have gotten more answers
The REASON why you are asking is sometimes as important as the question itself It helps people feel like they are giving answers that are actually relevant to a specific situation instead of just answering a random survey.
