Default POS gilden shirt

i ordered 138 shirts from jiffyshirts and 65 of them are white. on there site they claim PRESRUNK. total BS. i ware xl and after i was its at my belly button. total BS. all were gilden 5000g heavy cotton.

the remainer were sport gray and a couple of golds which havent shrunk half as bad.

i shiped to my customers at least 50 shirts and i can only imagine the returns ill be doing soon.

i sent an email to jiffyshirts about this and ill let ya know what happens.

has anyone else had this problem.

man im pissed off.

How exactly did you wash them? *Anything* will shrink if you wash/dry it in too extreme a manner.

Gildan 2000 shrink about 5%. I use them a lot. Also they are oversize.

I've ordered all kinds of Hanes and FTL from Jiffy with no problems so far. Your post makes me think I should continue avoiding Gildan.

Try M&O knits. It's a softer feel and i think it's just as good if not better than Gildan. It's a little cheaper as well. Good Luck.

No real shrink problems on my end with Gilden. I work outside in them every day and wash in hot water. I do expect about a half size shrink with any 100% cotton white shirt.

We push Gildan to all our clients and haven't had any real issues accept the few minor ones here and there that you will get from every brand.

Over the many years in this Industry I have seen mis labels, pockets sew on the wrong side, major holes, missing a sleeve from all the major brands. It happens to them all.
