Re: Worn out effects You could look at buying burn out tees: in those some of the fibres are chemically burnt out rather than just bleached, might give you something like what you're after. I think you can buy marbled bleachy shirts, but I can't think of who sells them off the top of my head (Continental, Royal, et al would be the most promising places to start).
You can take the shirts after they're printed (or before) to a wash house and get some wet processing done on them.
