I've purchased samples from them and I'm having some shirts printed using their ESW line.

Fit is similar to American Apparel/AlternativeApparel, but maybe a little more relaxed. Not baggy or boxy like a gildan/hanes, but more of a stylish fit.

Definitely worth testing out a sample to consider them for an upcoming project. I prefer AlternativeApparel's heathered shirts, but the Pacific Sports ESW line is very nice.

Remember that "nice" to me is going to be different that "nice" to you. Everyone has different preferences as to what they look for in a t-shirt.

But yes, I also bought some samples of the heathered shirts.

I just ordered some samples from them... I will let all of you know how they are. I ordered some from Continental and Article.1 at the same time, so maybe I can do a bit of a comparative study here! Should be in by early next week...

I just received my samples from Pacific -- 2 men's PM30ESW shirts and 2 PJR30 shirts. The PM30ESWs are super-soft. I took them with me to football-watching yesterday to survey a crowd, and the guys thought they were both soft and true to size.

I got the PJR30s to see if they would fit women, and the M seemed to be equivalent to a women's small and the L to a women's medium. These aren't quite as soft as the PM30ESW, but I haven't washed them yet, so they may get softer. Still, they are pretty soft. I am quite impressed, considering that the prices were low.

Also, I ordered from Article.1 and Continental this past week (samples), and Pacific was the quickest to respond to confirm the order and to get the shirts to me, so I was pleased by that.

However, as far as the sizing and using the PJR30s for women, I'm not sure what to do with the larger sizes (such as if I need an XL, because the PJR30 XL is probably like a large)... I am going to relabel anyway, so maybe a men's S or M can be the women's XL. Anyway, pretty good so far with Pacific.

does anyone know anything about epacific in terms of the outsourcing they do to Haiti? I asked them about it and they said they follow the same strict guidelines imposed on them by Walmart but this means nothing to me as a UK consumer

I have no idea... the fabric is made in USA and the shirts are assembled in Mexico... I have heard nothing about Haiti

I just checked again -- some are Mexico, some are Haiti. You're right!

What do you think of the Wakmart thing I mentioned? I know a lot of the ethical marketing stuff done by some companies is often not quite what it seems but its nice to think on a basic level that you're getting a reasonably 'clean' product

If you have concerns about their response, you should follow up with them and ask for a more specific clarification and layout which exact questions you need answered from them.
