Any healp would be appreciated..
Thank you.
I've noticed that also but to my knowledge...they are the same shirt...just a different tag. I think they changed the tag design a while back.
The Ultra is a 6.1 oz 100% cotton shirt. The next one down is called Heavyweight (without the word Ultra) and it is a 5.5 oz 100% cotton shirt.
Besides the weight of the cotton, I've noticed a big difference is sizing between the two. The Ultra's run bigger than the Heavyweights (and most other shirts for that matter).

Yeah, I also notced Gildans sizes to be much bigger than other brands.. How come Canada Ultra Cotton Tees are 10.1 oz and the US Ultra Cotton is 6.1 oz?
Is there a big difference between the two and is it possible to determine one from another by touch?

The "ounce" measurement in Canada is different than the ounce measurement in the US.
They are the same exact t-shirt and the same exact weight.

Would you conisder fruit of the loom t-shirts better quality than Gildan? By quality I mean softness of the shirt itself, durability and the way it was made..
I'm asking because I notice that when buying gildan shirts there are always some that look completely warped out of shape in the neck or shoulder line where the stiching is.
I can get fruit of the loom for .60 cents more than gildans 2000 so if they are way better I'm thinking it might be worth investing a little more money.
