Default Getting all confused. Help

I'm trying to get into air brushing t-shirts and customizing both tees and kicks. But I also want some of my designs on transfers (not sure if that's what I want) Or the outline of my design on transfers so that it makes for producing a larger quanitity in less time in the future. I read a little about heat transfers vs. screen printing but still ended up confused as to what screen printing is and which to go with. I want to be able to send out my design and have good quality tranfers made, or the like for now because I don't have all the equipment needed just yet. Eventually I'll get my own heat press and Roland G 24.
Also where can I go to look for these items wholesale (tees, undershirts(beaters) for men and women, dresses, Track jackets, trucker hats, womens shirts, polos, sweat suits, jogging suits, urban wear. etc. I'd like to eventually start my own line.
I also had questions as far as starting an e-commerce website. Where to begin? Is it best to go with a one stop shop or look for the services piece by piece? (domain, shopping cart, web hosting) But at the same time I want to have control of how it looks what pics I can add, music (possibly), tabs, pages, short video clips, I want people to be able to comment on some of the artwork, give coupons, ect. Should I just learn how to build the website from scratch myself??

Sorry for all the questions. I've been on here reading up. Thought I have everything down as to what I wanted to do and how I was going to do and got lost somewhere along the way. Thank you all for bearing with me on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had to out-source once and used First Edition, they were very professional and sent a great product.

Try one of the many wholesalers listed here in these threads like SanMar, AlphaShirt, TSCApparel, AmericanApparel, etc.

There's lots of ways to do it. There's no BEST way. But you can research it in the ecommerce site design section of the forum. Lots of those questions have been answered.

Try one of the many companies listed here:
