Default Need wholesaler for Adidas T-shirts?

I've got a customer who wants me to print on Adidas t-shirts for their summer camps, but the only wholesale sources I have found (Alpha and Broder Bros), but they do not really carry any T-shirts (mostly Polos). Does anyone know of a source that can wholesale a variety of Adidas T-shirts?

Adidas is really funny about who they sell to. I work PT at a bike shop and we cannot get their running gear, as we are a "bike shop". Yet Pearl Izumi and Louis Garneau will sell us running gear.

If I were you, I'd call Adidas and ask them where you could get the shirts you are looking for at a wholesale rate.

Hint: try Mavic-Adidas

Good luck,

Diane

Yes I talked to Adidas. They will only put me through to a telephone number where you can leave your business name and phone number -- to request a new account -- and they will send me a new account packet in 4 to 6 weeks -- with no guarantee that I will get a wholesale account with them. They would only recommend two companies (the ones I already mentioned) who don't really sell T-shirts. So, I am pretty stuck at this point -- I would hate to lose this customer -- there is a lot of possible future business.

Therein lies the problem, they are really particular to who they sell their clothing to. They have many clothing lines (basketball is one that comes to mind)

I don't think I could buy their running stuff for our shop if I wanted to (without an act of congress), and we are a triathlon shop which of course includes - running!

I will say that they are wonderful to deal with and usually quicker than they say they will be, so hopefully you'll get the info you need quick enough to get the ball rolling.

Let us know how it turns out!

Diane
