Default Starting a new line of tees for women: where to get fashionable tees?

Hi..I am new to the forum..so not sure where to post this..BUT...
I am interested in coming up with my own label of fashionable, but comfy tees for women..something like the Michael Stars tees..my first question is..how do I find a FASHIONABLE tee??? It seems as all of the tees are just basic. I love how the Michael Stars have lace on the cami's and special details.

I have been researching a lot, but still not sure which way to go..either relabeling to start, or to have tees made up. Right now I think the most economical way to go is relabel. So if I relabel, the next question is...WHERE do I get these fashionable tees???

I would appreciate ANY help or direction I can get, and I thank you in advance!

Hi Deb, I haven't heard of Michael Stars tees, but there are several t-shirt manufacturers that specialize in "fashion forward" type t-shirts:

AmericanApparel.net
Article1.net
Continental-USA.com
Bella.com
ASTees.com
Kavio.com
AlternativeApparel.com
theapparelagents.com

You may want to look through the above websites and catalogs to see if any fit your needs.

Most likely, the t-shirts that Michael Stars sells are custom made to his specification. This is done in MASS quantity (like 100's and 1000's per design).

So it can be a challenge to match the exact style of big name brand shirts you see in stores. They have bigger budgets, so they can do fancy things

If you're at that level, then you can contact manufacturers directly and have them custom make a garment for you. But if you're not ready to order 100's or 1000's of t-shirts, then it probably makes more sense to just find one a design that's available wholesale from one of the above vendors (or other vendors that I may have missed )

hey those shirts for women are a very nice fit... im not too in with the colors in the front page kinda look like tiedied a local wharehouse here showed me "bella" as a cheap alternative for AA womens, i was very impressed he swore it was way cheaper, if anyones actually tried them a comparison would be nice

mm anyone know what that argentine womens flare looking shirt is called? im thinking about starting with that, its like tight and then just like hangs but only to one side

hi there ~ ! ~ deb ~ we are pretty much in the same boat ~ i've checked out a few places in san diego (james gang in ocean beach & waffo in east village) ~ james gang showed me a few samples of "bella" ~ i was pretty impressed! i'm still trying to figure out how to break even at the beginning ~ unless you place a huge order of units, the blank tee + silk screening is pretty pricey. i'm sure there's an answer ~ just haven't found it yet ~ ! ~ i'll let you know when i do. all the best ~ ~ felicia
